How does a lithium-ion battery work?

If that isn't possible, unplug the gadget when it reaches 100%.Although "fast chargers" are efficient, a lithium-ion battery degrades faster than conventional charging. When a battery is discharged prematurely, it degrades through many of the same mechanisms. To help the discharge rate, reduce screen brightness, disable location services, and turn off power-hungry programs on laptops and smartphones.Some manufacturers advise against storing batteries in the charger when using cordless power tools while others warn against fully draining the battery. A few advise charging the battery in an environment with an ambient temperature range of 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees.
