How to maintain the Lipo battery?

Before each charge session, always check the voltage of the batteries to verify they are at or above the minimum safe starting voltage. If the starting voltage is less than the required level, the batteries have been overcharged or have failed and should not be charged.

Before charging, always inspect the battery for any signs of damage. Examine the battery container, wiring, and connectors for flaws that might lead to a short circuit and eventual battery failure.Check that the charge leads you're using are compatible with the battery connections.

To avoid a short circuit, the user should carefully verify the polarity of the battery cable and charger lead before connecting.

Always check that the charger is in excellent working order. A faulty charger might be hazardous.

Use only chargers made for lithium polymer/Lion batteries. Use an NIMH/NICD/LIFEPO4/LEAD ACID charger instead. If the charger is capable of supporting many battery types. Unless another C rate is mentioned in the manufacturer's product documentation or the rate is fixed as part of a specific battery and charger combination, the charger should never be configured to charge Batteries at a rate more than 1C (one (1) times the capacity of Batteries in amp hours). Once charging has commenced, DO NOT CHANGE THE CHARGE RATE.
